Beautiful porcelain serving dish with lid made by J&G Meakin, Hanley, England, and marked with backstamp used in 1890. The dish is embellished with pale blue and green flowers, scalloped edges, and raised scrolls; gold accents on the lid and handles. The dish is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of dark spots on the inside bottom of the dish and on the lid, but they don’t detract. See photos. Approximate measurements are 8″ x 6.5″ rim to rim x 2.75″ tall excluding handles and lid. With lid in place, overall measurements are 10.75″ x 7.25″ x about 4.5″ tall.
