American Arts and Crafts Movement Piece
Hand embroidered , floral mat surrounds a photograph of a man completed in a traditional style arts and crafts frame
The Arts and Crafts Movement began in in the 1860’s in the United Kingdom it moved to the United States around 1890 and ran.until the 1020’s .
I estimate this piece to be about 1910 to 1915.
The back is still in original conditon,. Framed by George E Maker-Art Store

The frame measures 13 3/4″ x 11 3/4″
The opening (the oval is 4 7/8 “x 3 3/8″
The embotdiered matting is 11″ x 9 3/4”
