Very moody 19th century English oil on panel of ships at sea with a castle in ruins on land. Overall painting is dirty which is consistent of age. Otherwise in good sturdy condition. The name of the castle is found on the back, however I could not read the name of the castle. There is also a signature on the lower left side, however I could not read the signature of the artist either. Artist name might also be found with castle name on the back. Sourced from Charleval, France.
